Our Story
Afrex Gold Limited is a family-owned business established in 2000, driven by the increasing global demand for premium fruits and vegetables. With over 20 years of expertise in exporting high-quality produce, we have forged long-term supply partnerships with clients across Europe and the Gulf Region, including countries such as the Netherlands, Spain, France, and the UAE.
Our flagship product is the avocado, which is organically cultivated and sustainably harvested from smallholder farmers throughout Kenya. We are committed to empowering these farmers by providing them with essential training in best agricultural practices, pest management, marketing strategies, and necessary agricultural inputs.
At Afrex Gold, we believe in the power of community and environmental stewardship. Our efforts extend beyond just farming; we actively engage in restoration projects aimed at revitalizing degraded landscapes. By working closely with over 1,200 farmers, we aim to cultivate sustainable practices that benefit both the environment and local livelihoods.
With a state-of-the-art processing facility located in Thika, Kenya, we maintain rigorous quality controls to ensure that our products meet international standards. Our Facility
Our facility is strategically located in Thika which allows access to Kenya's main Avocado production region. Majority of our farms are within a three hour drive to our processing facility. This ensures a quick turn around between fruit harvesting and dispatch to our valued clients.
