Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will lead Afrex Gold’s financial strategy, ensuring robust planning, operational efficiency, and compliance with local and international regulations to drive sustainable growth.

Afrex Gold is a leading agribusiness company in Kenya, specializing in sustainable sourcing, processing, and export of fresh produce. We empower smallholder farmers and contribute to environmental restoration.

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company growth goals.
• Lead long-term financial planning and budgeting.
• Provide financial insights to the CEO and Board for strategic decision-making.
• Oversee accurate financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness in farm operations and supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax regulations and international trade laws.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital financing.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent certification required.
• At least 10 years of financial management experience, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Proficiency in financial software like QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, forex management, and compliance.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to drive alignment and strategic decision-making.
